Les mots qu'on sème
A Complete Method
Les mots qu’on sème offers online language classes in small groups (3 to 10 people) with qualified teachers, ensuring structured learning over 30 weeks. The focus is on repeated exposure to knowledge and personalized follow-up thanks to a dedicated tutor available by message to support each learner. A thoughtful and supervised review schedule, along with regular exchanges with a native language partner, fosters authentic immersion. Access to online resources and flexible learning formats make it possible to adapt to each learner’s needs. Unlike other platforms, Les mots qu’on sème guarantees high-quality instruction by hiring only true educators.

👩🏻🏫👩🏻💻A 1.5-hour weekly video class
Our classes are held via videoconference in groups of 3 to 10 learners with a qualified teacher. Each 90-minute session covers grammar, vocabulary, or phonology through varied activities and exercises. Pronunciation—which is often overlooked in language teaching—is a key part of every level. Our approach stands out for its systematic repetition of knowledge, because we know that a language point seen only once isn’t truly acquired. Our clear, logical shared curriculum ensures that learners consistently revisit knowledge throughout the 30-week program, across four different levels.
↗️🌱A Tutor
Each learner is assigned a dedicated tutor (not their teacher), who is available at all times by SMS or email to answer questions. If a class is missed, the tutor reaches out to help the learner catch up and rejoin the group at the same level. If a topic covered in class needs further clarification, the tutor guides the learner in understanding and mastering it. This personalized support helps maintain motivation and ensures steady progress—even in case of occasional absences.

👥💬A Native Language Partner
As soon as registration is complete, we connect each learner with a native speaker of their target language who is learning the learner's language in return. As the course progresses, we suggest conversation topics to explore with their partner. We encourage regular exchanges through written or voice messages. This daily practice is essential, as too many learners only engage with the target language during class. All conversations are 100% private, and if a partner stops responding, the tutor will quickly find a replacement.
📆🔄Spaced Repetition Calendar
The tutor or academic coordinator regularly sends exercises based on class topics. This spaced repetition schedule is discussed with the learner at the start of the course. For example, if the past tense imparfait is taught on Day 0, the learner will receive a first exercise after one week (Day 7), then another after three weeks (Day 21), and a third after seven weeks (Day 50), and so on. This method enables long-term retention of knowledge.

📋📕Online Program and Workbook
A semi-detailed program is shared at the beginning of the course. It can be tailored to specific goals such as DELF, DALF, TOEIC, or Cambridge exam preparation. Clear, achievable, and verifiable objectives are set with each learner based on this program. All class materials and review exercises are uploaded directly to an online workspace.
